The Kemistry experience goes way beyond simply turning up and playing some well known songs.

Our stage set is impressive. We have a beautiful night sky backdrop made up of hundreds of blue and white LED’s. When the room is dark this looks fantastic and really adds to the visual experience. We have a very exclusive and expensive PA system. (H.K Elias for the speaker geeks). This delivers a crystal clear sound to the room. Vocals cut through whilst the energy of the bass and drums is maintained. We never get asked to turn down even though we are at times quite loud. This is because the frequencies produced are purer and they do not hurt people’s ears like cheaper systems used by the majority of bands and D.J’s.

Then there is our lighting. We use the latest LED effect lighting to bring strong vibrant patterns to the dance floor. We also use lasers for a real heart stopping visual edge. Again the difference between the average DJ’s lights and Kemistry’s is staggering.

Our lighting is brighter and more exciting simply because we refuse to use budget equipment. We use haze effects as they would on big TV shows. Haze is an invisible mist that brings out light beams and laser beams with total precision.

Not to be confused with the common smoke machine used by mobile DJ’s, the haze machine will not set off fire alarms, will not make people cough, does not smell, and cannot be seen. Yet when used with good quality light effects it transforms any room into a nightclub! The reason most bands don’t use it is simple....it’s really expensive.

Our music is performed by us. We do not buy pre recorded backing tracks. Each song we perform has been carefully crafted in our studio first. The drums would have been programmed by hand. Each fill and each cymbal hit painstakingly put in manually on our drum software. This is the first step in sounding like a real drummer is in the room and not a machine. Then we layer the song with the parts needed, such as synth sections, orchestral strings etc. We even add extra backing vocals ourselves if the song requires them. Then when we perform live we sync up the pre recorded tracks with our live vocals, live electric guitar and live keyboards and the end result is a massive sound bigger than most large bands.

Kemistry band hire packages can even include a disco service in between the live performances. It’s worth mentioning that we don’t just play a compilation CD and rush to the bar. There are many live bands that will do this. We have a separate computer fully loaded with state of the art DJ software and over a 1000 tracks. So we keep reading the audience and selecting the best songs to keep everyone dancing even in our breaks. Requests for songs are welcome at this time. If we have it we’ll play it.

ll these elements combine to create a night that is musically breathtaking, visually stunning and professionally slick. No awkward silences and discussions between band members about what to play next. Kemistry operate just like a signed recording artist in concert (all be it on a smaller scale).

We liaise with you every step of the way and can offer advice on planning your event if you are stuck for ideas. We liaise with venues direct once booked so you don’t have to. The Kemistry show is the ultimate live music experience, and it’s much more than just music!
