Ok so it’s your wedding reception. You want to hire a live band but how can you be sure they are reliable for such an important day? In fact considering that most weddings are booked 12 months in advance on average how can you be sure the band will even still be together by your wedding day?

This is a common dilemma experienced by many brides. It is also a problem faced by corporate clients who may wish to book a band a long time in advance for an up and coming event.

Don’t panic! Kemistry are full time professionals. This means we are committed to our bookings and will NEVER let you down or pull out of a booking. All our gigs are confirmed by a legally binding contract signed by both ourselves and the client. This ensures piece of mind for both parties.

A lot of bands that advertise themselves as “wedding professionals” are not. These bands can often be spotted very easily. The standard 4 or 5 guys in matching shirts and the token woman on vocals.

They normally have a set full of old soul and 60’s stuff (because it’s easy) and speakers that are of poor quality.

Often with very little or no lighting they will be found playing pubs and workingman’s clubs most weekends, and then working back in the call centre on Monday morning after cashing in on your wedding day if you give them the chance. DON’T FALL FOR IT!
